Can I use the chart with Hama or Artkal beads?
Yes. The grid and counts are brand-independent. Color names are approximate, so match each displayed shade to the closest bead in your own collection.
Which grid size should I choose?
A 29 × 29 pattern suits simple icons. A 58 × 58 pattern balances detail and build time. An 87 × 87 pattern works for subjects that need finer features.
How many colors should a beginner use?
Eight to twelve colors is a comfortable starting point for many small projects. More colors can improve shading but increase sorting and purchasing work.
